NOTES FOR THE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR



Updates to Pipeline Application (Front End)

1. Updates to the database are free, simpy download the latest version from the link at the top of this page.
2. This applies to both registered and unregistered copies of the software.
3. Users of registered copies of the software will be prompted to re-enter the registration code to use the new version.
4. Uninstall previous versions before installing the updated software.
5. Updating the Pipeling application software will not affect your data, the change is only to the Front End application, not the back end data file.

1. From time to time we will make changes to the data structure of the back end data, by adding new fields and tables. You must keep up to date with these changes, as the updated Pipeline Application (Front End) will expect to see the correct fields and tables when it connects to the back end data.
2. These changes are listed below. To make these changes you will need to use a full version of Microsoft Access (XP/2002, 2003 or 2007) for MDB Back end data files, or you qill need administrator access to the SQL Server where your database is located.
