DataHouse gives you 3 main screens for maintaining contact information.
Company Screen
Enter information on Companies. You can have as many companies as you wish.
Enter information on the employees of these companies (contacts). You can have as many contacts at each company as you need. Note that Company information relates to all contacts, so if for example the company changes address - you make one change to the company info, and all of the contacts inherit this change immediately.
View Previous Sales Activity - see what products this company has bought in the past. This view includes Quantity and Date Sold (or quoted).
View Previous Purchase Activity - see what products your own company has bought from this company in the past. This view includes Quantity and Date Purchased.
Jump to a particular Sales or Purchase Order at the click of a button.
Contacts Screen
Quickly find a contact by searching on any part of First Name or Second Name.
Jump To detailed Contact History screen (see below) at the click of a button.
Create a list of contacts using the filter function. You might find this feature useful for Christmas card lists, product launches etc.
Export lists of contacts (filtered or unfiltered) to Excel for mail merges etc.
Contact Management / History Screen
Keep notes on your dealings with a contact.
Previous notes can be seen but not edited.
Create Faxes and Letters at the touch of a button based on a standard template built into DataHouse.
Email the contact at the click of a button.
Quickly review all Contact History for a particular company in one convenient report.
DataHouse is ready "out of the box" to share on a network. This means that the Internal Salesman, the Receptionist, the Engineer and the General Manager can all be using the same data to help them liase effectively with the contacts your company deals with day in, day out.
